Disclaimer of Warranty

Plumbing Booster is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we strive for accuracy in our calculations and code compliance features, the Software is an engineering assistance tool and does not replace professional engineering judgment. The user is solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and approving all calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents before use. Engineering judgment and professional review are required for all designs produced using this software.

Code Compliance Disclaimer

Although Plumbing Booster supports multiple plumbing codes (IPC, UPC, NSPC), local amendments, authority requirements, and project-specific regulations may differ. Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with the applicable laws, codes, and requirements governing their projects. Support for a plumbing code in the Software does not guarantee approval by local authorities having jurisdiction.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plumbing Booster shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the software, including but not limited to engineering errors, project delays, or regulatory non-compliance. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Software during the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your license immediately if you violate these Terms, attempt to circumvent licensing or copy protection, or use the Software unlawfully. Upon termination, you must cease using the Software and remove or uninstall any licensed copies of the Software from your devices. This does not require deletion of your own project files unless they contain proprietary portions of the Software.

Intellectual Property

Plumbing Booster, including but not limited to its source code, object code, algorithms, user interface, graphics, icons, diagrams, reports, documentation, trademarks, and branding, is the intellectual property of Mahmod Sohsah. References to plumbing codes, including IPC, UPC, and NSPC, remain the property of their respective copyright holders. Plumbing Booster is an independent software product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those organizations.

Anonymous Notification Analytics

When you open in-app notifications, the Software sends a privacy-preserving analytics ping to our servers. This ping includes only the following non-personal data:

  • Notification ID — identifies which notification was viewed (e.g., "release-2.0.7")
  • Platform — identifies the app type: "android", "windows", "web", or "ios"
  • Anonymous Device ID — a randomly generated identifier stored locally on your device, used solely to count unique devices. It is not derived from hardware serial numbers, MAC addresses, IP addresses, or any personal information.

This data is used exclusively to count how many unique devices have opened each notification, broken down by platform (Android vs Windows). No user identity, email, IP address, location, project data, or usage behavior is collected or stored. This anonymous data cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual user. Each device is counted only once per notification. You can reset the anonymous device ID at any time by clearing your browser or app local storage.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Plumbing Booster after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failures resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, governmental actions, or failures of third-party infrastructure.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
